🚐 Help launch the National Community RV Tour
Inside the community, you can:
Feel a noticeable shift in your relationship with your dog within 30 days, with just 5–10 minutes of intentional practice a day.
You don't need a perfect dog.
You don't need a perfect plan.
You just need a place to start.
I know what it's like to be the person looking for answers and wondering why none of them seem to fit.
This community wasn't created because I thought the internet needed another dog group.
It was created because I couldn't find the kind of place I needed when I was struggling with Fitz.
So I built it.
There isn't one perfect way to live with a dog.
There isn't one answer that works for every dog.
And something not working doesn't automatically mean you did it wrong.
We're here to get curious about why something isn't working and what you can learn from that.
The questions you were afraid would get you judged.
The questions you thought everyone else already knew the answer to.
The questions you can't ask without somebody turning the conversation into an argument about who is right.
Ask them here.
Someone can tell you what worked for them without telling you that you have to do the same thing.
You can disagree.
You can have a completely different experience.
You can change your mind.
You just have to be respectful about it.
Dogs aren't just training projects.
We'll talk about:
Training.
Behavior.
Body language.
Enrichment.
Nutrition.
Health.
Senior dogs.
Pet loss.
Behavioral euthanasia.
Struggles.
Wins.
And all the weird everyday stuff that comes with loving dogs.
Because sometimes the thing you're dealing with has absolutely nothing to do with whether your dog knows how to sit.
Sometimes your dog is having a hard time.
Sometimes you are having a hard time.
Sometimes you're exhausted, overwhelmed, grieving, frustrated, or just really freaking tired of trying to figure it out.
That matters here too.
You don't have to pretend that loving your dog means enjoying every single day.
You don't have to get everything right.
You don't have to have the perfect plan.
You don't have to know exactly what your dog needs before you ask for help.
“This didn't work” is useful information.
So is:
“I don't know.”
So is:
“I never thought about it that way.”
That's where learning happens.
Some people want a place to talk and learn.
Some want live conversations and more access to me.
Some want personalized support.
That's why the community will have different levels of membership and support, rather than expecting everyone to want the same thing.
You can choose what makes sense for you. And when you need something more personalized, there are separate options for working with me directly.
You can choose what makes sense for you.
The community isn't just conversations.
The community is also where you'll find the growing library of courses, guides, worksheets, checklists, and other resources I've created for dog parents.
What's available to you depends on your membership level.
Learn something.
Try it.
Come back with questions.
Share what happened.
The resources and the community work together.
This isn't a place where I talk at you and disappear.
I'll be here.
I'll answer questions, share what I'm learning, and bring in people who know things I don't.
And I want to hear what you need.
Because the whole point of building this is to create something that actually serves the people who are here.
This is your community too.

Ask questions, share experiences, vent, celebrate wins, find ideas, and connect with other dog parents.
Access the growing library of courses, guides, worksheets, and practical resources inside the community.
Find conversations around the things dog parents actually deal with, from training and body language to nutrition, enrichment, grief, struggles, and wins.
Stay connected to what's happening, including community events, calls, and eventually updates from the road as The Dog Who Asked for More grows beyond the podcast.
Paid membership levels will add additional access, live conversations, direct messaging, personalized support, and exclusive course offerings.

You're joining a place where you can learn, ask, share, think, and figure things out.
And you can take what you need.

You don't need to know exactly what you need before you join.
You don't need to finish every course.
You don't need to spend hours here every week.
Start with one question.
Read one conversation.
Learn one thing.
Try one small change.
Come back and tell us what happened.
That's enough.
Because the goal isn't to make you dependent on someone else for every decision about your dog.
It's to help you understand more, trust yourself more, and know where to turn when you need support.

These are businesses, creators, and platforms whose work may be useful to dog parents looking for additional resources, services, products, or perspectives.

The Dog Who Asked for More is a dog training podcast and community for people who love their dogs but still feel like something isn't adding up.
Created by Em, a dog trainer, Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist, and retired vet tech with over 20 years of experience, it's a place to explore dog behavior, reactivity, body language, nutrition, and enrichment through curiosity rather than judgment.
Through honest conversations, practical education, and a supportive community, we're learning to ask better questions, understand what our dogs are communicating, and find what works for our lives together.
Because loving your dog doesn't mean you have to have all the answers.
